Eucalyptus Bowl

This is a green-turned Eucalyptus bowl, measuring 6.75 inches in diameter by 2 inches high. It's splitting in the center bottom as it dries, and warps. I'll fill this with gold-filled epoxy when the wood stops warping. A crack on the side was filled with black CA glue.

Here's a photo of the warped wood after one week. It's still not completely dry yet.

Iron Bark Eucalyptus Bowl

Here's a live edge bowl I turned a week ago. It measures 4.5 inches in diameter by 3.25 inches high. This is very hard wood. There's a worm hole in the side that I decided not to fill . . . for now. The live edge has no bark.

Ceramic Mobile'

Here's a ceramic mobile' I made at Carol Figuroso's ceramic studio. It measures 10 inches tall by 19 inches in width. It is painted, not glazed; the colors are green and bronze. The arms are painted steel. My wife Ellen and I were invited to a once-per-week play days at Carol's studio. We're loving our times there with Carol. Good conversation and good times making art.
