Here's a small Pear wood canister I turned. It measures 2.5 inches tall and 1.25 inches in diameter. I used my Sorby texturing tool to make the decorative lines on the top. This was wet sanded with mineral oil up to 320 grit sandpaper. I love working with this wood. This piece has a couple of small cracks that appeared a week after it was finished.
