Here's a 5 inch diameter by 1.5 inch high green-turned Elm wood bowl. This one has no sap wood on it. All heart wood, with knot inclusions. This is another wet turned bowl from a storm damaged tree in my yard. This is starting to warp as it dries. I'm hoping that it won't crack. We'll see in a few weeks. Letting it dry slowly and naturally might get me better results. This was wet sanded with mineral oil up to 320 grit, then orange oil treated, sanded. Will sand again an polish once it's dried completely.
