I can't be the first person who thought of this idea. It is pretty cool looking though. That's a 1/4 inch twist drill bit ground tapered to a point. The twists are still very sharp, so it's easy to bore out and enlarge a hole with this. That's a piece of Plum wood for the handle, with a brass ferrule. Kinda Steam Punk lookin'.
