Spalted Maple Box with lid

I am really enjoying working with my lathe . . . when I can get my hands on some nice, free, wood. Here's another spalted Maple box. I made a bowl, and then decided to make a lid for it since I had a piece of spalted wood left, and I couldn't make a bowl out of it. Came out rather nice. The knob is rosewood, also turned on my lathe. This bowl is about 5.5 inches in diameter, and 5.5 inches high with the lid. Each bowl I make is slightly better than the last one.
